Stars forward Jamie Benn (wrist) and Brenden Morrow (groin) were not on the ice to start practice today in Frisco, but both players came out and skated at the end of the session.
“I would say that Jamie is doubtful for tomorrow,” said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. “Brenden, we’ll see how he skates in the morning.”
Morrow has missed two games with his injury and Benn has missed one.
“Worked out in the gym and got a big of a skate in there and really didn’t shoot any pucks or pass any pucks,” Benn said. “Just resting it and we’ll re-evaluate it tomorrow.”
Defenseman Trevor Daley wasn’t on the ice today. Gulutzan said it was a maintenance day for Daley.
“He’ll be ready for tomorrow,” Gulutzan said.
The forward lines in Wednesday’s practice were the same that started Tuesday’s game. Gulutzan said he’ll probably star with the same combinations for Thursday’s game against Anaheim.
“It was only one game with the lines. Probably keep the lines the same and go at her again,” he said. “Tomorrow might be a little bit of a tighter leash to see whether or not we change things.”
