Camp update: Rome out until start of the season; Peverley misses day one of camp

Training camp opened in Fort Worth this morning with two Dallas Stars not taking part. Defenseman Aaron Rome had a procedure on his hip and is expected to be out until sometime around the start of the season, according to a team official.

Forward Rich Peverley is not expected to be on the ice for day one of camp. During a physical on Wednesday, there was a blip on Peverley’s EKG. He is having that checked out today.

  1. NO! Say it ain’t so! We don’t need anymore blips. We’re just getting started for pete’s sake. Get rid of the blips. No more blips. Blips…. bad! We wish to be blip-less.
