Here are some videos Sunday’s Dallas Stars-Minnesota Wild game at the NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Michigan. The Stars won 2-1 in a shootout.

The Stars and Wild go to a shootout. Dallas’ Alex Chiasson scores the lone goal and Stars goaltender Max Lagace stops all three Minnesota shooters.

  1. I like seeing Nichushkin score goals, but it kind of looked like the Wild D just let him walk in and shoot. I don’t think the guys in the NHL will be so permissive. What’s your sense, Mark, as you are there in person and not viewing through a video (which we appreciate :o)

  2. For an 18-year-old kid playing in a high-level tournament against some stiff competition, he was mighty impressive. He’s a great prospect. Is there going to be some ups and downs at the NHL level to start? Sure.. But he’s got all the tools to be a great player.

  3. Hey Mark, you may have already answered this, but who’s coaching the prospect team? Is it new Head Coach Ruff? Or a coach in charge of training with the prospects?
