Stars prospects will play Columbus for 3rd place in Traverse City

Dallas Stars prospects will play the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday for third place at the NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Michigan.  Game time is 6 p.m. Central Time.

The Stars ended up in second place in the Howe Division with a 2-1-0 (5 points) record. Columbus finished second in the Lindsay Division with a 2-1-0 (6 points).  Teams get 3 points for a regulation win and 2 points for an overtime or shootout win.

Detroit and Buffalo will play for the championship. Both those teams were undefeated.

Here is Monday’s lineup of games.

2:30 pm 7th place – New York vs. Minnesota
3:00 pm 5th place – Carolina vs. St. Louis
6:00 pm 3rd place – Columbus vs. Dallas
6:30 pm Championship – Detroit vs. Buffalo
