Friday update: Kari Lehtonen in goal tonight, possible lineup change on defense

The Dallas Stars take on the Blues in St. Louis tonight, both teams are playing on the second night of a back-to-back and both teams will go with the same goaltender as last night.

Kari Lehtonen starts in goal for the Stars and Brian Elliott gets the nod in net for the Blues.

The Stars could make a lineup change due to a possible injury on defense.

“We’re going to make a game-time decision on whether Jordie Benn will come in or not,” said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. “It might be for a player that might be injured. We’ll make that determination at game time.”

As for the forwards, the Stars are expected to roll out the same group as last night.

Alex Chiasson (shoulder) and Lane MacDermid (chest) are traveling with the team, but are not expected to play.

Stars projected lineup

Smith-Eakin-Garbutt
Nystrom-Fiddler-Cole
Roussel-Wandell-Fraser

Daley-Robidas
Dillon-Goligoski
Rome-Larsen
(Jordie Benn could play on defense)
