“This is a huge game for us. We’re due for one in the back-to-back,” said Stars forward Eric Nystrom. “We’re going for three of four (points) on this road trip. We wanted four points, we got one tonight, we would have liked two but we’ve got to find a way to win on the road back-to-back, and stop making excuses.”

About the Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets (5-12-2) are coming off a 1-0 loss at Chicago on Sunday. It was the final game of a six-game road trip that saw Columbus go 1-5-0.
“You look at this road trip that we’re on, six games, other than the Phoenix game … they were all one-goal games,” Blue Jackets coach Todd Richards said. “We’re giving up maybe two goals a game, maybe three goals a game, but we can’t generate anything and we can’t finish right now in the offensive zone.”
Columbus scored ten goals during the six-game trip (1.67 per game), while allowing 15 goals (2.50 per game).
Injuries: C Artem Anisimov (head), C Brandon Dubinsky (knee) and D Jack Johnson (upper body) are out.
