Calgary defenseman Mark Giordano has a fine hearing later later today over an slew-footing incident in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Stars. It happened at 11:53 of the second period. Giordano was given a minor for tripping Stars forward Antoine Roussel on the play.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, any fine that could exceed $5,000 requires a hearing.
