Tuesday update: Gulutzan doesn’t expect any major lineup changes for Oilers game

The Stars practiced in Colorado today before flying to Edmonton, where they will take on the Oilers tomorrow night.

Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said he hasn’t made any decisions on his lines and defense pairings, but he doesn’t anticipate any major changes from the lineup he rolled out in Monday’s 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.

“We’re not sure yet what we are going to do,” Gulutzan said. “We’ve had time to go through most of the video, but we’re not sure on our lines and our D pairs yet. I suspect there won’t be any major changes.”

With center Derek Roy returning last night, the Stars are pretty healthy. Only left wing Ray Whitney (foot) is out of the lineup right now. Gulutzan has the chance to find some consistency with the lineup going forward.

“We need consistency, not only in our play but in our lineup, and letting guys play and jell together,” he said. “I like the way the balance is on our lines right now.”

Gulutzan said Kari Lehtonen will get the start in goal tomorrow against in Edmonton.
