Cristopher Nilstorp expected to make NHL debut tonight

Cristopher Nilstorp is expected to make his NHL debut tonight as the Dallas Stars take on the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Nilstorp, signed out of the Swedish Elite League back in June, has been impressive in the AHL this season, posting a 16-10 record with a 2.13 goals against average, .916 save percentage and four shutouts.

Forward Reilly Smith, who took a puck in the mouth  and lost a tooth in the Phoenix game, had some dental work done last night. He was expected to fly into Minnesota today. If Smith isn’t able to go tonight, Colton Sceviour would slide into the lineup on the fourth line.

Defenseman Aaron Rome skated today and remains questionable with a groin injury.

Josh Harding will get the start in goal for the Minnesota Wild.
