Sunday notes: Brett Ritchie runs points streak to ten games with goal, assist

Here are a few notes on Dallas Stars prospects who were in action Saturday.

*After having his goal scoring streak stopped at eight games on Friday night, right wing Brett Ritchie (second round/2011) was back in the goal scoring column on Saturday night. Ritchie notched one goal and one assist in Niagara’s 6-5 shootout victory over Sudbury in the Ontario Hockey League. Ritchie now has points in 10 straight games and has 26 points (17 goals, 9 assists) during the streak.

*Center Radek Faksa (first round/2012) ran his assists streak to four games, picking up two more in Kitchener’s 4-2 victory over Erie in the OHL. Faksa has 8 assists during the streak.

*C Mike Winther (second round/2012) had two assists and was the game’s first star as Prince Albert defeated Brandon, 5-2, in the Western Hockey League.

*Center Scott Winkler (third round/2008) scored a goal and assisted on another in Colorado College’s 6-5 overtime loss to Yale on Saturday.  Winkler has 9 points (5 goals, 4 assists) in his last 8 games for the Tigers.
