Thursday night prospect notes

Here are a few notes on Dallas Stars prospects from Thursday.

*Right wing Brett Ritchie (second round/2010) had one goal and one assist in Niagara’s 5-1 win over Sault Ste. Marie in the Ontario Hockey League. Ritchie has three goals in his last two games and six points (three goals, three assists) over his last four games. Ritchie has 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 14 games this season. He’s tied for seventh in the OHL in assists.

*Defenseman Troy Vance (fifth round/2011) scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Victoriaville defeated Acadie-Bathurst 5-4 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. It was the first goal of the season for Vance, who has seven points (one goal, six assists) in 13 games this season.

*Defenseman Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) picked up his first assist of the season as MODO lost 5-4 to AIK in the Swedish Elite League. Bystrom has one goal and one assist in 10 games this season.

*Defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka had a team-high six shots on goal and logged a team-high 25:46 of ice time as Ilves defeated TPS in the Finnish Elite League. Jokipakka, who has nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 16 games this season, ranks seventh in the league in average ice time at 25:43 per game.
